Due to the variation of carrier naming conventions in BenefitPoint, you may run into issues such as below, that will require your PerfectQuote Admin to update carrier mappings.
Issue 1) When adding a plan to Benefit Builder, you receive an error message similar to below, indicating that your plan cannot be sent to BenefitPoint, since the carrier is not active.
2) Plan is sent to BenefitPoint, but appear under a carrier name variation that is different than what your firm users and reports under (ex: "BCBS Texas" vs "BlueCrossBlueShield Texas" vs "BlueCross BlueShield of Texas").
To resolve these issues - your PerfectQuote Admin should take the following steps:
1. Go to Firm Settings > INTEGRATIONS > and tap the "Edit" button.
2. Within the left column "PerfectQuote Carrier", find the PerfectQuote carrier in question that is causing issues.
Let's use "Allianz" as an example.
3. Within the matching dropdown box in the right side column "BenefitPoint Carrier", search/browse to find the desired BenefitPoint carrier, select it, then tap the "Save" button in the lower right corner of the screen.
In our Allianz example, note the many variations of the carrier naming in BenefitPoint.
