Creating new RFPs

To create a new RFP, go to RFP & Uploads in the left menu, then tap the Create New RFP button (in the center of the page or the top right corner).

You can also create a copy of an existing RFP by tapping the 3-dot menu and selecting Duplicate.

You can then specify which RFP elements to transfer to your new RFP:

Key RFP Details

The first step is to enter key details for your RFP, including:

  • An RFP title
    • For your reference only.
  • Effective Date
    • Will default to your Group Profile Renewal Date.
  • Due Date
    • Will drive timing of carrier reminder emails.
  • Additional Info
    • We suggest including details about the group, the opportunity and/or summary of requested coverage.
    • These details will be sent to all participating carriers.

In addition, the RFP will remind you to fill in any key missing group details, including:

  • SIC code
  • EIN
  • Address

 

At any point in the process, you can save your work and exit by tapping the "Save and Finish Later" button in the bottom footer.
