RFP Products

Within Step 2, you can specify the products requested.

 

Products will be selected by default to match your group's Current Plans (so please always make sure to confirm your Sold Plans at the end of a renewal!), but you can also add/remove products by tapping on the product tiles.

 

For each product, please specify:

  • The RFP type
    • If your group has at lease one current plan (for the prior effective year) for a given product, this will default to Renewal coverage (but can always be changed).
    • For new/virgin groups, select New coverage.
    • For renewals outside of the group's typical renewal period, select Off-cycle marketing.
    • You can also select Other if none of the above are relevant.
  • Contributions
    • If your group has at least one current plan (for the prior effective year) for a given product and has contributions specified, we will automatically populate your RFP with the current plan contributions.
  • Requested Commissions
    • Can be specified in any format - %s, $ amounts or a mix.
  • Product Notes
    • We recommend any product specific requests be noted here, as these will be shared with all participating carriers that you have selected to market for the given product.

 

For RFPs of type Renewal coverage, please specify:

  • Current Carrier
    • If your group has at lease one current plan (for the prior effective year) for a given product, this will default to the current plan's carrier (but can always be changed).
  • Carrier Case/Group/Account/Policy Number
    • This field is optional, but can be used to specify any identifier for that carrier and your group/case, as this will ONLY be sent to the current carrier.
