Carrier Discussions

  • Updated

Please remind your carrier reps that all they have to do is "reply all" to the RFP emails received, including attaching quote files.

Responses will appear both in your company email and within the PerfectQuote app, within your RFP Messages view.

Reviewing RFP Details

After sending your RFP, you can always review details by tapping the 3-dot menu and selecting View Details.

Within the Carriers section, you can review the recipients of each RFP:

  • The CC and BCC recipients will receive copies of the RFP emails sent to ALL carriers.
  • Hover on the "X Recipients" link under each carrier, to see the carrier-specific recipients.

RFP Negotiations

Upon sending your RFP to carrier recipients, the status of your RFP will change from DRAFT to IN PROGRESS.

Within a given RFP, each carrier's status will initially reflect the following:

  • Waiting - indicating carriers that have not yet sent any response.
  • In Discussion - indicating carriers that have sent an email reply.

Don't forget that you can communicate with your carrier reps either from the PerfectQuote app OR your corporate email. If communicating from your corporate email, always REPLY ALL to ensure your messages also appear within PerfectQuote.

With your RFP list view, you can expand an RFP to review any unread messages.

The top level of the RFP will indicate the # of unread messages across all carrier recipients, and upon expanding, each carrier listing will indicate the # of unread messages per carrier thread.

Tap on the icons in the Unread Messages to review and respond to your carrier reps.
