Completing RFPs

Confirming Sold Plans

PerfectQuote's RFP module automatically notifies your carrier reps of groups won or lost, so make sure you complete your renewals by renewing plans from your Presentation and confirming them as sold.

Note: please mark plans as sold even for carrier plans that were not sourced via the RFP module, as this will allow the automatic notification to RFP carriers that they have lost a group.

From your Presentation, tap the radio button next to plans on each product tile, then tap the Renew Plans button at the bottom of your Selected Options tile.

Then tap CONFIRM PLANS at the bottom right corner of your SOLD PLANS view. This will set your current inforce plans for the upcoming renewal year and trigger the carrier notification process.

Winning Carriers

For a given carrier within an RFP, any products that were confirmed as sold for the group, will be represented by green product icons. Icons will only turn green upon confirming sold plans.

PerfectQuote will automatically notify carrier recipients by email of each group's win/loss status:

  • Recipients of carriers with confirmed sold plans will receive email notifications of cases won.
  • Recipients of carriers that have shared plans for products where plans have been confirmed as sold from other carriers, will receive email notifications of cases lost.

Completing RFPs

RFPs can be completed automatically or manually.

RFPs will be automatically marked as COMPLETED if:

  • For every product included in the RFP, the group has at least one confirmed sold plan.
  • And/or all carriers have been marked as DTQ.

RFPs that have a status of IN PROGRESS can also be manually marked as completed via the 3-dot menu and tapping Mark as Completed.

You can also revert a Completed RFP back to In Progress status, via the 3-dot menu.

Please note, RFPs where no carriers have responded and are in status of WAITING, can only be marked as DTQ, not as Completed.
