Setting up users

Your PerfectQuote Customer Success Manager will set up your initial users. However, your Firm Admin(s) will be responsible for subsequent user management.

 

For Firm Admins:

Go to the User Management tab in the left sidebar menu. To add a new user, tap the "New User " button, input the required information and assign a role. Update the user's Status to "Enabled" and tap "Save". The user will then receive an email prompting them to login and set their password.

 

Please see below for a summary of firm roles and associated permissions:

Firm Role Permissions
Firm User
  • Can access all content and take any actions throughout the PerfectQuote application (ex: submit census, upload quotes, create/edit/delete plans, create/edit/delete groups etc.).
  • By default, cannot manage firm user accounts or firm settings.
Firm Reviewer
  • Has read-only access to all content.
  • Cannot take any actions to create or edit/update content, ie - cannot:
    • Submit a census
    • Create/edit plans
    • Add plans to Benefit Builder/Shopping Cart
    • Mark plans as favorites
    • Set employer contributions
  • By default, cannot manage firm user accounts or firm settings.
"Admin" flag

Can be added to either Firm User or Firm Reviewer roles, to allow:

  • Managing firm user accounts
  • Managing firm settings
"Content Manager" flag

Can be added to either Firm User or Firm Reviewer roles, to allow:

  • Managing Plan Templates
  • Managing Firm Library

 

Please note:

To avoid any issues, when new members leave or join your team, we ask that you:

  • Disable any user who is no longer using PerfectQuote.
  • Create new user accounts via the process above.
  • Rather than transitioning an existing user account to a new person/email address, as this may cause issues.

Your organization will only be billed for enabled/active users.
