Comparing premiums

Within the Renewal Plans view, depending on the product, your plans may be from uploaded quote files, manually created and/or retrieved via census submission (ACA Medical plans).

Resulting in plans with premiums that may be based on various employee counts, preventing a uniform "apples-to-apples" comparison of plan premiums.

PerfectQuote gives you the opportunity to standardize and normalize plan premiums based off of a uniform set of employee counts, to accommodate various employer group scenarios.

Ex: you may want to see premiums based on today's employee group counts, as well as anticipated counts once new hires are incorporated.

Within this dropdown, you can choose to show monthly premiums based on:

• Current comparison counts
  • If you've set up at least one current in-force plan, your renewal plan premiums can be calculated based on the employee counts of your current plan.
  • Applicable products: large group Medical, Dental, Vision
• Custom EE counts
  • Specify exact employee count by tier (ex: if you want to estimate premiums for future employer group scenarios).
  • Applicable products: large group Medical, Dental, Vision
  • If you would like to see ACA Med plans under these specific employee counts, you must update your census to reflect these counts and resubmit. You will see a reminder as follows:

• All census employees, Plan 1/2/etc. census selections
  • See plan premiums calculated by member plan selections on your census.
  • Applicable products: large group Medical, ACA/small group Medical.
