Editing plan benefits & rates

You can edit benefits and rates for a particular plan as follows:

  • While viewing a plan, tap the "Edit" button in the lower right corner of the footer bar.

 

 

Editing Plan Details

The "Product" type cannot be modified for an existing plan, but all other summary details can be updated.

Custom plan notes can also be added by tapping the "+ Add plan notes" link at the bottom of the "Plan Details" section.

Editing Benefits

All benefit values can be edited - - some are designed to automatically append a $ or % sign before/after the values, if they are typically seen as $ or % values. However, all values can accept any combination of numbers, letters and special characters to offer maximum flexibility across carriers and plans.

Editing Rates and Contributions

You can update a plan's employee counts, composite or age banded rates (depending on product type), and other cost components, to automatically calculate plan monthly premiums.

In addition, you can specify employer contribution strategy for a given plan. Please see "Specifying employer contributions" for complete details.
