Understanding ACA Med export views

Your standard PerfectQuote export includes a few functions and tabs specific to ACA/small group Medical plans and rates.

Age Rated Premiums vs Tier Rated Premiums

When adding plans to your Presentation from the Plan Explorer, you can set the "ACA Rates" toggle [right] to "Age" or "Tier" rates.

• If you set the toggle to "Age", and add plans, then any ACA Med plans that support age rates, will display age rated premiums in the presentation and export.
• If you set the toggle to "Tier", and add plans, then any ACA Med plans that support composite tier rates will display composite tier rates and premiums in the presentation and export.

Once in the presentation, rate types can be edited per Plan and per Option by clicking the "manage options/plans" icon on the Medical tile view. 

 

Member/Dependent Contributions

Regardless of how the "Age Rates/Tier Rates" toggle is set - your export will contain the following tabs:

• An "ACA Age EE Contrib" tab detailing member age rates, contributions and overall age rated premiums, based on member-plan selections.

• An "ACA Age EE Contrib ALL" tab detailing member age rates, contributions and overall age rated premiums, as if all members were allocated to all plans.

Age Rate Tables

Your export will also always contain an "ACA Age Rates" tab detailing complete age rate tables for all ACA Med plans that support age rates (that you've added to Benefit Builder).
